I miss smoking cigarettes
I have got a long list of regrets
but of all the things that I could miss
it's making mischief with my friends
In the back of cop cars making jokes
while the police would call our folks
to tell em all the trouble we were in
tomorrow going out and we're doing it again
rough and rowdy we're looking for a thrill
we still got a bottle of fireball to kill
so we're gonna hit the diner at 4 am

If I think back to where my mind was at
it's not the best idea to romanticize all that
cuz I was probably in my darkest place
but coffee and music were my saving grace
There were some nights where I definitely
should have died but I guess my ticket
is worth more for its ride

fourteen days I'm hiding in my bed
that's fourteen days inside my head
the economy is caving in on itself
yet some how the rich are gonna hold onto their wealth
so I don't need a bunch of celebrities poorly

because I could do that one on my own
just pool your funds together and throw us a bone
eh universal incomes just the tip of the top
but what we really need is for rent to stop
and it's getting hard to tell the truths from the lies
but at least both sides agree that they wanna see us die
so right wing left wing chicken wing I guess this how im gonna spend my spring
Im thankful for such a beautiful day to sit on the couch and rot away.

Im in the kitchen
to wash the dishes
after I make some scrambled eggs
well im lookin at this onion
think im gonna put some in the eggs
so I dice up that onion man im starting to feel something
there's a sea of tears coming down my cheeks
and I think that's the first time that I felt something this week
wouldn't it be funny if emotions were accessible by doin different things to different root vegetables we can grow our own home gardens
our own pandoras boxes this wayyyy
like if im happy when I eat a rutabaga and I get bored when I boil a potato
and im so mad when the veggies go to waste
so if the garlics covered in mold well I just feel like a disgrace
